A Bank Probationary Officer (PO) is a first stepping stone in any bank. This job is generally offered to the fresh graduates without much prior work experience in bank. There fore a Bank PO can be asked to do anything till the completion of his/her probation period (thats how the name- Probationary Officer, right???). The working and conduct of a PO is closely monitored by the immediate senior. Once the employee has been confirmed in service he/she can be given routine work like posting, passing, scrolling or advances or anything that is related to banking.
